Since each character has different equipment during leveling, its important to not put too many points into some of the skills so we can put them elsewhere, so if you get an item that takes a soft cap skill to 14/12 (where it says 12 is the soft cap) you can take 2 points out of the skill and put them elsewhere. Poison is quite the nice ailment in Path of Exile. My reason for asking is this: As I maxed out I have 472 points in cunning, while you appear to have 516 without putting any points in cunning (511 being needed for the Venomblade sword).
